1/27 - 1/29 Troop 880 Camp Johnson in Bolton

What we're doing:

This camping trip is in place of the ski weekend that was originally planned.

We will be camping at Camp Johnson in Bolton.  It is a very nice camp with a cabin that we will be able to use for daytime activities.  We will be sleeping in tents so Scouts should prepare for cold weather camping.  Additional layers of non-cotton clothing and extra water are a must.  For sleeping, two sleeping bags put together work very well.  Combined with a sleeping pad to stay off the cold ground, scouts will be very warm at night.

Saturday Breakfast will be by Patrol.  If your scout has a cooking requirement to fulfill, please let me know and I will take that into account when I form the Patrols.

Saturday Lunch will be provided by the Troop.

Saturday Dinner - Scouts should bring a dehydrated meal.

Sunday Breakfast - The Troop will be leaving early on Sunday morning.  Scouts wishing to have a breakfast before we leave may bring a dehydrated breakfast or oatmeal.

Since there is not a lot of time to get the permission slips in, please feel free to email me an electronic permission slip and I will add the scouts to the roster.

All fees and permission slips MUST be received no later than January 24, 2012
