The EXCITING annual canoe trip on the Delaware River is open to all scouts, parents and family members; water-guns and super-soakers are legal!! This is one of our most popular camping trips- don't miss it! Troop 880 will be traveling to upstate New York on Friday evening, to Kittatinny Campgrounds where we will be setting up camp.  Wake up call won't be until 7:30am on Saturday. After a leisurely breakfast, we will be bussed up to Narrowsburg at 10:00am to start our exciting, lazy river adventure!! We will have many breaks for: site seeing, Eagle sightings, Water Wars, recovering from shooting the rapids-as well as taking an hour for lunch on the river. Sunday morning we will cook our own breakfast, pack-up and be on the road to home by 10:00am. Those that choose to stay and participate in the paint ball option (Not sanctioned by the BSA or Troop 880, will need to have a parent present). They will transport us up to the mountain top playing fields (where there are bunkers, large rock formations and natural cover) overlooking the Delaware river; in a military troop transport truck.
